A family-run bed & breakfast in northern Quito. A eucalyptus forest out back, a volcano out front, and someone who actually knows the city at the front door.
La Uvilla is a house, not a hotel. There's no front desk and no lobby music — just a family that has hosted travellers in Quito for years and will tell you honestly which neighbourhoods are worth your afternoon and which aren't.
Eucalyptus trees and Quito's largest park start where our garden ends. You'll hear birds, not traffic.
Quito sits at 2,850 m (9,350 ft). Most people feel it on day one. Rest, drink water, skip the alcohol — and let us bring you coca tea. Day two is fine.
Mariscal Sucre is 40 minutes out and taxis overcharge new arrivals. Tell us your flight and we'll have someone waiting for you.
Exotic Ecuadorian fruit you've probably never tasted, plus real coffee. Not included in the rate — just ask and we'll add it.
All with Wi-Fi and linens. Prices are per person, per night, and do not currently include breakfast — you can add it when you book.
