From the airport (UIO)
Mariscal Sucre airport is in Tababela, about 40 km away. By taxi or transfer it's 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. Tell us your flight in advance and we'll help arrange the ride.
From the historic centre
About 20 to 30 minutes by taxi. It's the essential Quito outing: plazas, churches and La Ronda. Best to go early and come back before rush hour.
To Mitad del Mundo
Between 45 minutes and an hour to the north. It's the equator line monument, and it pairs well with the Pululahua crater in the same trip.
To the Atahualpa Olympic Stadium
It's close by, a few minutes away. If you're coming for a match or a concert, you're near enough to walk back or take a short taxi.
To the Metropolitan Park
Across the street. Literally. 558 hectares of eucalyptus forest, trails and volcano viewpoints.
Getting around the city
Taxis and ride apps are available at all hours. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, with shops and restaurants a few blocks away.
